We have a large number of activities developed for the School, Rural Hostel, and Summer Camps, and we adapt the activities to the age of the children, the duration of the stay, and the time of the year.
The staff members of the farm are very experienced, all having either a special monitors degree or bachelors degree.
There are also some activities based on learning about the farm animals, organic gardening, riding horses, cooking, etc...
We have environmental activities such as a short walking trail to learn about the plants and animals, making seedbeds, recycling, reforestation, making bird feeders and houses, etc...
We work with materials which the children may not be used to, and creating activities like basketry, working with leather and wood, designing t-shirts,etc...
Sports and fun: archery, rock climbing, mountain bike circuit, walking and hiking, camping skills, orientation games, role play games, group dinamic games, etc...
With all these activities and others, the Farm creates a schedule of mixed activities. We are concerned about the caracteristics of each group of children, weather factors, availability of certain materials and the scheduling between groups.
A normal day consists of a 2 hour activity in the morning, an additional two in the evening, and a night game. There are days that the children go on a hike, visit town, etc... We also have topic days in which all the activities that the children throughout the day have a common theme.
All activities, breakfast, lunch, dinner, free time, and bed time hours are created and scheduled by the monitors who are present 24 hours a day.
Here is a list of the activities.
