HOW THE SCHOOL OPERATES PDF Print E-mail
Most visits are 3 to 5 days from different schools and the incorporated parents association.

The children are always under the responsability of the Farm and monitors who care for them 24 hours a day. The monitors themselves develop the activities and supervise free time, meal time and bedtime.

The accompaning teachers from the schools have the position to make sure that everything works out and runs smoothly where the children are concerned.
The accomodations are dorm rooms with bunkbeds separated by gender and age.

With the large number of sleeping accomodations that we have at the Farm, separating the children by Schools is always a posibility.
Before the arrival of the children the Farm contacts the school and goes over the arranged schedule. Depending on weather conditions and other factors the schedule is always open to change.

The day begins at 8:30 a.m. and consists of four activities. Each activity an hour and a half long. There is a period of free time for the children after lunch and snack time. After dinner there is a night game. Other schedules may include day trips or hiking.

In the case of a difficult situation with any child, the child´s teacher is able to communicate with the parents.

If there is a child on medication the monitors are responsible for giving that child what he or she needs. If there is a medical emergency the child is taken to the nearest medical facility
